It seems like antivirus producer started to bring cloud technology which is getting popular nowadays. After the release of Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.0 several days ago, now it the turns for Avira which released technical preview from Avira Protection Cloud. I don’t know whether it would be released into new product or replace their antivirus, the fact is, you can taste it now.
For you who haven’t found out, technical preview is an another term of Beta version, just like Microsoft Office 2013 Consumer Preview which SOT had shared before.

After you’ve downloaded and installed it, just click on scan and Avira Protection Cloud will be working. All files would be scanned using cloud database. Every suspicious files will be sent to cloud in real time, identified, then the report will be displayed on the computer.
